Sage and James are such a sweet couple, and they also happen to be great entrepreneurs. Sage has a turquoise jewelry business, and if you’re local to Reno/Tahoe or Carson Valley I highly recommend purchasing some gorgeous jewelry from Turquoise Sage! James on the other hand has gone the route of franchises and has opened multiple successful Big O Tires businesses.

Sage reached out to me to photograph their wedding before they had even officially secured their venue because she knew she wanted me to be her photographer, and wanted to make sure I had her potential dates available. Normally I would need a specific date to move forward with booking, but after talking with her and hearing her vision I decided to block all of her possible dates in my calendar because I knew I wanted her to be my bride as well! Shortly after booking with me they secured they Graeagle Corner Barn as their wedding venue, and I am so excited to photograph their wedding there this fall!

When we were discussing their engagement session, and sharing Pinterest boards, Sage mentioned she wanted to include a few things that really felt like them; dancing and drinking beer (feel free to sponsor them Coors light)! It was really at that point that I knew these were my kind of people.
